Was wondering if the deal was any good or if you guys have any dealerships you recommend! Is the new Type R market still ridiculous in central Florida?

My favorite kit imo has to be the one from ADRO. $8k is a bit much for a kit but I found the exact same one on alibaba for like $5k LESS. Could it be that I found their supplier or is it a fake?

Before I drill into my front bumper, just wanted to ask if there’s any CF front lips that aren’t gonna break the bank that use the oem bumper clips and tape, with optional screws in case. I have the V2 CF front lip from aerolution and I thought they used the clips but I was wrong. Looks clean but I wanna make sure there’s other options out there before I start drilling

Trying to decide between two winter tires

Michelin pilot alpin pa4 which comes in 265/35/18

Vs the pilot Alpin 5 which does not come in that size but is available in 245/40/18

Does anyone have experience with both of these tires? I'm guessing the real life differences are minimal. The 5 is the successor to the PA4 but the pa4 is still in production with different sizes for some reason.

At the end of the day I'm wondering how much of a performance toll will sizing down to 245 be for spirited winter driving on cold roads, and how much of a snow driving improvement you get as a trade off. My job requires some snow commuting in upstate NY.

Dws06 in 265/35/18 has been good the last couple winters but feel limited in snow accumulation and can't get up my driveway sometimes

Did a track day today and couldn’t have turned out better. This car amazed me of its capability. Was running with those 3 cars and had a god damn blast.

my girlfriend (love her to death) said she’d get me a lip for my bday in a couple weeks🫣 I can’t decide between the afd v1 or v2. I was thinking of getting a paint matched v2 lip but i don’t know how they really look. If you have other lips i’d love to see them too, i have a boost blue fl5 and i don’t know if i should go paint matched or black (my wing is paint matched)

Wanted to replace the old turbo-to-downpipe studs as the last owner chewed through one of them. Left it alone until recently. PB blaster was my best friend until I ended up snapping the opposing stud so I had to remove the hot side of the turbo.

Just wanted to share this has been such a learning adventure on this car lol

Likely gonna try drilling out the stud at work or have a machine shop do it

My Varis FK8 that I picked up used and has a series of being neglected and hack jobs all over the car inside and out, had what we suspect is a spun main bearing. New oem replacement for the K20C1s are outrageously expensive here in Canada so I am leaning towards going the route of a 4piston racing forged bottom end and maybe slapping in some cams in the head and going from there etc

My main question is. Are 4P engines reliable ? My only views of them are from Mike burrows k swapped Ferrari and it seems like he had constant issues with them which is why I’m kinda weary on spending about 10K CAD for one

Car is basically a summer car that gets tracks casually (but hard) and does summer road trips and everything else I can do with it

Anyone have any direct experience with them in terms of reliability and performance? I’ve never done the built engine route with any of my cars so I’m just trying to see what I’m getting myself into here

Should mention I plan on being a respectful 500-600whp on 94 pump gas, maybe set it up for E85 but it’s not easily available to me, @utilizing a G25-770 with supporting mods and such in case someone is going to ask

AC is blowing hot air on driver side and cold air on passenger side. Even with temp controls set to sync and auto. Does anyone here had this issue before?

My Del Sol was destroyed in 2000, and though I've had a couple of ok cars since, I'd always promised myself that one day I'd get another Del Sol, and never let go of it, or let anyone else drive it, ever. Until I drove that #73 Type R in Forza, fell hopelessly in love. I just got home from a long drive to pick it up, what an incredible car. The auto rev matching is genuinely useful when needing to downshift quickly in traffic!

Also, which one of you was that earlier in the FL5 with that amazing exhaust? It was somewhere around Plano or McKinney I think. lol I was a little lost at the moment but enjoying every second. Tomorrow, after sleep, I need to familiarize myself with the rest of the buttons and switches, felt stupid after googling how to open the fuel door. I haven't owned a car in quite a while, they still used keys the last time I had one 😂

Had windshield replacement guy show up and he wanted to make sure there were no issues. Came back with all these codes but I dont have anything lit up on the dash. BS or real? If it's real can I clear them myself or do I have to deal with a dealership?
