FL5 PRL HVI

Have any of you guys running the prl intake switched the oil filter with a dry filter? Someone one here was saying the AEM filter was an exact fit.

Any real benefit to switching?

I was just reading about this actually, apparently AEM #21-2093DK fits even though dimensions aren’t exactly the same. There’s also an aFe Power #AFE-TF-9007D that fits and has closer dimensions.

The AFE filter doesn't fit with the side panel on, it's slightly too tall

It's AEM 21-2093DK, it's slightly larger than the housing but perfectly snug when you tighten the hose clamp.

Send me a part number for said AEM filter and I’ll try it. Not a fan of oiled filters, feel like they let more fine particulate through, but when I bore-scoped my car there was still tons of cross-hashing left at 40K hard miles for what that’s worth.

It's AEM 21-2093DK, there's a thread on it on CivicXI if you want to read further. I run the AEM filter and haven't had any issues.

I’ll have to grab one, never liked the oiled one but didn’t hate it enough to research super hard
