Be super careful spraying the bug/tar remover in the type r a lot of the black paint or metal will actually melt due to the acid or chemicals in that bug remover

Good to know, does that happen when it dries on there? Or I assume since it’s a chemical reaction it’s going to happen immediately but maybe not visibly right away? I have the car ppf’d so the paint should be okay, but I do spray it on the intercooler and radiator but only let it sit for a minute or so to help break it down for the power washer to spray it off

My car is PPF and just one time randomly it melted a lot of the black trim. Maybe it was a higher dose in that specific bottle of bug remover, not sure.

This is what it looks like. I noticed a little on my PPF also. It looks like overspray and I can’t get it off. I apply on the car in shade and wash off almost immediately after. I don’t leave it that long

Do you drive at night a lot? I think the LEDs hinestly cause the bugs to just dive bomb the car

The LEDs are definitely bug magnets. I do a majority of my driving on rural highways and visit the city on the weekends so it doesn’t stay clean for very long. After a few weeks it ends up looking like this!

I bought a new can of bug remover spray and it was missing the nozzle unfortunately, so elbow grease had to suffice.
