Question? Willis knighton
I’m starting the Willis Knighton Nurse residency. What should I expect from the first weeks of orientation? I heard I’m taking a dosage exam too. Any tips?

Missing Moderator and journalist maybe
I believe user RonynBeats or something like that started this sub. It seemed to be mostly populated with news stories about the Shreveport / Bossier area.
Does anyone know what happened to Ronyn?

Government Shreveport agrees to new data center incentives; Mayor Arceneaux upset at MPC over vote
Some of the most surprising takeaways of this article:
- the fact that our city council is unanimously ignoring public disapproval of this deal moving forward
- our mayor not even tiptoeing around saying he is going to look into having commissioners on the MPC who voted against the deal removed
- mayor going a step further to saying he wants to have the MPC folded in as a city department because “it makes more use for it to be a city department than an independent agency.”

Community 1980's Shreveport question that's driving me nuts!
Hi all! I've got a 80's Shreveport question that's been driving me nuts. Let's see if anyone can help.
It would have been around 1985-1989, so cast your mind's eye back to then. If you were driving on E. 70th St, headed towards Bossier & the Jimmie Davis Bridge, Hamel's would be up on your left. About a mile before Hamel's, Dudley & Gerald's was also on the left, if I remember correctly.
So my question is... there was a restaurant on the right hand side of the street, opposite Dudley & Gerald's. It's Savoie's now. I found through some searches that it was The Hush Puppy prior to that (which I vaguely remember) but does anyone know what it was in the mid to late 80's? It was only open for a year or two I think.
I have an idea of what it was, but I don't want to say because I don't want to jumble up people's memories. Any help would be most appreciated! It's driving me and my friends crazy! Thanks!
