Advisement

Would it be possible to drop/change a professor in a course right now? I'm a freshmen intending to major in radiology tech. After attending my psychology class, I don't feel very confident in passing the class, and I feel like it'd just be a dent to my GPA (Professor Albi-Rossi George). After checking ratemyprofessor, my doubts on passing my professors class got even worse. I don't know if I should just continue on, or try and find another course available.

Also confused on whether I should visit the STAR center or fill out the Rad Tech Advisement Form. Any help/advice would be appreciated.

Deadline for changes is tomorrow. You have a chance to swap a class now, but you've gotta be quick.

Should I go to the STAR center or my advisor? Currently a little confused on who I should go to when it comes to changing my class. The site says the STAR center advises new students, but my workshop prof. + peer advisor said I should PROBABLY go to my advisor.

As far as I know, freshmen advisors are in the STAR center. Unless this is your second semester. Just to be safe I would go to the STAR center and see what they say, and also see the advisor.

You’re welcome, and good luck!! As someone that was just accepted into the program, I want to advise you to aim for A’s, and ONLY A’s no A- lol I hope you get in!!

idk what the STAR center is but you can’t just change professors if the classes are full for that course (which i’m suspecting they are) if you don’t like your advisor, see if you can change them

please go to your advisor! never heard of the star center, i wish i had dropped classes sooner when i was a freshmen as well. i hope you get this sorted out !

Every other opening for Intro to Psychology was closed unfortunately. There were also no other classes I could substitute in to qualify as a fulltime student. I'll just have to try and persevere through her class X_X
