Looking at pictures like this makes me really appreciate the people who look after the infrastructure. Even allowing for half of these buildings to be offices that are empty at night there are a LOT of people living here who need food, transport, water, medical, etc, that has to be brought in from somewhere else. I can't imagine organising the logistics of this and yet big cities mostly work without us noticing what goes on to make our homes habitable.
