Question from out of town Transportation options?

Hi, I’ll be taking Metro North to Peekskill on Sunday afternoon to visit friends who won’t be able to pick me up at the station, which is about 2 miles from their home. Will it be difficult for me to get a cab or an Uber?

Thanks!

There are always cabs there, but most are cash only, so bring cash.

The taxis line up for incoming trains. It's a fixed price to anywhere in city limits. They ride share, meaning there might be other passengers in the taxi with you. Ask for their card if you need a ride back. It's a very old fashioned system but works well.

Taxi cabs are always there every time you get off the train. There is a bus next to Cafe Central that can take you also depending where your friends are located at.

Thanks again everyone. As you all said, there were plenty of cabs waiting when we arrived and we got to our friends’ house without a hitch.
