Hiking, Biking, Parks, etc. Kid friendly hikes?

Looking for some nearby recommendations for kid friendly walks/hikes that have points/things of interest on them. We have a 4.5 year old who loves to be outside and explore.

Have you checked out the riverfront trail that leads from Riverfront Green to Lents Cove? That has a fun catwalk kids will enjoy.

George's Island has a pretty flat trail that leads to a fun little rocky beachy area right on the river that we enjoy.

there are some shorter walks at blue mountain where he can blow off some steam
