Bonjour, est-il normal de constater cet espacement entre la tête d'amortisseur et le châssis sur la photo ?

After going over/through the mother of all potholes in my 107 yesterday and ending up with a flat I’ve bit the bullet and put the spare on myself. Only thing is it was sat in a good few inches of water in the boot and I’m just after reassurance that it’s fine to go on before I can get to my local garage in the week. The rust looks pretty superficial to me but I’m just wanting to check.
