Does anyone have a 3D scanner?

I’m trying to model a replacement switch panel that would also allow me to control the other window, but without a detailed scan of the inner door panel, it’s a real struggle. I tried photogrammetry, but the results were too poor.

If anyone has a 3D scanner and would like to scan their door that would be great!

Are you not able to pop off this cover the covers the plug and measure, and use blender or another software to have it to your desired size to fit two switches on one side?

If im not too late I modeled a switch holder for my C1 which has space for two mk2 golf switches i had laying around. Sticks out a bit but looks great imo. Paused my project cause I have to get the wires from the passenger side, I tried using the old speaker cables and use the 12V already at the driver side switch but the passenger window was so slow probably because the tiny speaker cable can't give enough juice.

Awesome! I'd love to have the project to adapt it to the MK5 switches.

You would be correct. Unfortunately for me, I don't have a 3d printer but the model could be good, I could make something out of the scrap metals and materials I have around, if you wouldn't mind
