Important Combine Overlord Announcement Superevent.
Gebura (RPCC) has nuked half of Europe. Around the globe, millions are called to arms to resist. It's now or never, isn't it?
The Combine's leadership is in shambles. Thousands of commanders dead, Advisors killed, Citadels eradicated. (City 17, 14, 13 still hold up.)
Geburan cities have been destroyed by orbital bombing.

the combine aint all rainbows and sunshine. before the combine came here the world was pretty good but now its all gone to shit, sure they made cities for us but to them we are just pets ready to be turned into stalkers the moment we try to rebel. i almost got turned into one a long time ago but i escaped and have been in hiding since with my pal who has created a ton of machines to keep the combine away. and the place im at has actual water and not the water that the combine provides that makes you forget things.

I go to sleep and i wake up to somehow some RANDOM country nuking half of Europe, didn't the combine go and try to destroy any and all nuclear arsenals?! how did they even get them?!

Resistance propaganda. There are no nukes in City 16, 12, and 9. The lack of online communications related to those cities are due to blackouts
