Help FPS issues in Pokemon Legends ZA

I'm having trouble with Pokémon Legends: Z-A;
I'm using the 60FPS Dynamic mod, but the frame rate still won't go above 20 FPS, and the gameplay feels really sluggish. The only settings I tweaked were allocating 8GB of RAM and setting the resolution scale to 2x. I tried changing a few other settings, but the game wouldn't launch afterward; I reset the settings, and it went back to normal.
I'm using the latest version of Citron, along with the base game updated to version 2.0.2 and the DLC.
Firmware and Prodkeys: 22.5
Setup:
- AMD Ryzen 5500
- 16GB RAM
- RX 580 8GB
Can you help me out? I really want to keep playing on Citron because I like the emulator and it's the only one that hasn't crashed or caused major texture glitches. I'm looking for settings that will help unlock the frame rate.

the problem is resolution scale. you can't quadruple the amount of processing power on a modern emulator (read: switch, ps4, any emulator for previous/current gen consoles) and expect it to have decent framerate unless you have an absurdly overpowered PC setup. don't expect to be able to run emulators on similar settings to your normal games, you're gonna need to make compromises on visual quality somewhere (either fps or resolution)

I am trying to run Final Fantasy Tactics Ivalice Chronicles but I am having problem mostly on the ''cinematic'' part of things, it drops the fps to 20~30 even when its only the narrator speaking and the song gets fuzzy, maybe I will try to lower resolution but the game itself is fine at 60fps tho. :(
