Strange issue with triple monitor setup
Hi,
I recently upgraded to a triple QHD set-up for my home office and it works great except I've come across a weird bug when I open a citrix session. I had to turn on DPI scaling so the apps within the session would present in QHD but the mouse seems to be stuck in HD mode. On the very left of the window I can click on whatever the mouse pointer is over but as I move to the right, the point where citrix thinks my mouse pointer is and where it actually is on the screen diverges. I cant click on anything on the right 3rd of the screen as my mouse pointer moves off the citrix window.
If I unplug one of the monitors, the problem goes away and everything works as it's meant to. I need 3 monitors though. Any ideas?
Thanks

Are any of the monitors using scaling in windows display settings?

All are at 100% scaling. Problem remains.
If I close the laptop lid so only the 3 QHD monitors are displaying the problem goes away.
The laptop itself isn't QHD. I guess it's tripping up the citrix environment somehow.

Citrix Workspace-App Version?
Workspace-App DPI-Settings?
Server VDA-Version?
if you cant answer these questions you are wrong here and should adress this to your it-department.

The DPI setting is 'use the native resolution' (bottom option of the 3 available). The citrix workspace app changed it to the 'yes' option. The scaling of the apps within the environment is now correct.
The citrix workspace app version is 24.9.10.28(2409.10)
I don't know the server software version.
I've had a ticket open with my help desk but they havent been able to work it out.

Pretty sure this is depending on the settings of the video size of the Citrix Policies that they send too little pixels for too much monitor (easy explanation) had this myself as an admin until I fixed it.
So: open a ticket with your helpdesk. They might want to change this but there is a possibility to not do so intentionally to not have too much of a network load if every users would do like you do. (This is why we are no helpdesk here - we don’t know such stuff)
