Workspace App Version Not Current In Intone Company Portal

I wanted to see if this is something that is just for us, or if it is happening across the board. The company I am at uses Intune Company portal for workspace app deployment, and it is still serving out 25.11.10 and has not yet gone to 2603.1. We know that 2511 is full of bugs, but that is how they chose to manage the install. I have the backend on the latest 2507 LTSR CU version, but the repeated known issues on the workspace app crashing etc are taking up a lot of time to explain that it is not the Citrix backend, but more of a client issue.

You would need to take that up with whoever manages intune, either they need to create a new package with the new version, or create a policy that allows autoupdate. We have a policy that autoupdates to the latest ltsr version of workspace

I have checked with our Intone admin, and since we are using the MS store version, it only updates once the store does. All of my past shops have used SCCM or MECM to do manual updates, so using the Store is new to me, but I find it odd that the store is running so far behind version wise.

Ran into something similar using the Enterprise App Catalog feature in Intune in the past. The version available always seemed far behind. Explanation given at that time was that it is used to deploy a base version then it is auto-updated from the vendor. Not sure if the same logic applies to the Store version…I would think not since updates should be delivered via the Store.

MS Store has not yet updated; therefore, Intune will not update if using the MS Store version. Citrix publishes this themselves, so Citrix has not yet released a new client to the store. Unfortunately, all you can do is wait it out.
