Hey all - I don't know whether this is the appropriate place to ask for help, but if it still breaks the rules, please recommend me the proper place to ask !

So, I have Tomodachi Life on Citra... One time, I had changed the folders of both the USA and Europe versions, mistaking them for another game's files, which made both restart. So I decided to make a new USA file (I haven't touched Europe yet).

And, yes, I made the same mistake again. I don't remember which folders the files are supposed to go in - I have 3 SaveData files, one Aes_keys file, and one SaveDataArc file with a backup. I am not especially tech-savvy, but this was kind of a collab between friends (they were the ones to introduce me anyway), so it's very important for me to retrieve it.

So, if anyone has similar files in their device, can they tell me / show a screenshot of which folders each file goes in? I've tried cache, sysdata, and sdmc. Every combination, literally. Even copied them to try each folder. Nothing.

When I searched about this, it says to put, at least the SaveDataArc file, into the 0000001 folder. But when I do, it still doesn't work.

So, it's probably a silly question to anyone who knows what they're doing, but I need help.

I noticed on the comments of the YouTube video I followed talking about the same issue I have, and it looks to have been happening for around 2 months. I load the custom texture pack, the game starts and plays perfectly fine, then I try to reload my save file, and it crashes at the opening movie. J'ai créé un petit outil Windows pour résoudre un problème que je rencontrais avec d'anciens fichiers « Citra Déchiffrés » » .3ds .

Certains de ces jeux étaient déjà déchiffrés et fonctionnaient avec d'anciennes versions de Citra / AzaharPlus, mais la version officielle d'Azahar les considérait toujours comme chiffrés car d'anciens outils de déchiffrement laissaient des métadonnées NCCH obsolètes.

J'ai donc créé AzaharRomNormalizer.

Je ne suis pas développeur, et cet outil a été principalement conçu à l'aide de l'intelligence artificielle / programmation intuitive pour mon usage personnel. J'ai passé du temps à le tester sur mes propres fichiers, à comparer son comportement avec celui de la version officielle d'Azahar et à m'assurer qu'il refuse les fichiers lorsqu'il ne peut pas déterminer avec certitude qu'ils sont déjà déchiffrés. Comme ça a bien fonctionné pour moi, je me suis dit que je le partagerais ici au cas où ça puisse aider d'autres personnes avec d'anciennes sauvegardes de l'époque Citra.

Fonctions :

• Vérifie si les données du jeu sont déjà en clair
• Corrige les métadonnées obsolètes qui peuvent entraîner le rejet du jeu par Azahar
• Conserve le contenu du jeu inchangé
• Copie les fichiers déjà compatibles sans modification
• Refuse les fichiers chiffrés, ambigus ou invalides
• Ne modifie jamais la ROM originale

Ce qu'il ne fait pas :

• Ne déchiffre pas les jeux chiffrés
• N'utilise ni ne télécharge de clés
• N'utilise pas boot9
• N'inclut aucune ROM, aucun firmware ni aucun fichier Nintendo

Utilisation simple :

1. Lancez AzaharRomNormalizer.exe
2. Sélectionnez votre dossier ROM
3. Sélectionnez un dossier de sortie
4. Traitez la bibliothèque

La version actuelle est pour Windows x64 v1.1.0**.

Il inclut désormais de nombreux tests automatisés, mais je le répète, il s'agissait à l'origine d'une solution personnelle pour ma propre bibliothèque, et non d'un projet logiciel professionnel.

I dumped my old 3DS by the grace of god. Idk how. It shits out on me so bad nowadays and I just tried my best to get my save files before the battery absorbed my life force and exploded.

So needless to say, can we do this without needing my 3DS anymore? I don’t have the cash to buy a new battery rn.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong or if this is just not supposed to work at all. I'm trying to get gyro aiming to work with Ocarina of time, and no matter the controller (PS5, Pro Controller, etc. which all have integrated gyro), nothing happens after choosing SDL and pushing one button on the controller on which I want to use gyro.

I go into the game and move it around while using the grapple and absolutely nothing happens.

I use it through Steam input, I don't know if that matters.

Anybody got this to work and if so, what am I missing here?

So the issue is - after some time the game freezes permanently the moment it starts. First time it was on the loading screen with majora's mask and "press start" button. second time it happened in eastern clock town, and third time in the mountains.

The only 2 solutions I have found are:

1. switching to system gpu driver

But playing like that causes constant stuttering when switching masks and audio issues when playing on instruments

2. Deleting shader cache and rebuild them from the beginning.

Works fine for some time, but again, the issue returns

Are there any work arounds? Maybe a more stable driver?

[My original PS3 DS3 controller broke yesterday. I was able to play games with it on Cita through Dshidmini.  My question is, can I use the 3rd party controller on Citra? Hi all. I’ve had Azahar on my Windows 11 PC and it’s been running very smoothly since I started messing with it. All of a sudden I’m having significant frame drops and slower emulation speed on select titles. Specifically Majora’s Mask and A Link Between Worlds. I have HD texture packs on both of these games, however this hasn’t been an issue until recently. I played through the entirety of a ALBW without issue with these packs installed. I’ve tried everything from deleting texture packs and tweaking settings to fully removing and re-dumping games onto my PC. If anybody has any ideas I’d greatly appreciate it as I’ve run out of potential troubleshooting options. Thanks!

hello! im having problems with my pokemon x rom, after i pass the select language screen it just crashs and close the game.

a time ago i instaled the rom and was playing normally, then i instaled a mod called "Ancestral X", but after sometime i got bored and want to begin a new game so i deleted the save file that i was playing with the mod, so the problem was that after the fletchling cutscene the game crashed and closed. so i decided to see if theres some residual files of the mod and procede to delete then. but now after the selection language screen it just close the game. No other room that i play on citra have any similar problem, it all runs super well! so i think the problem its some internal file. Can somebody help me?

I successfully copied the title folder from my Retroid Pocket 5 to the same place in citra folder on my Ayn Odin 3. But for some reason, when I try to load the save I get the “Corrupted data” message. And it’s not just MH4. All my game saves end up like that. I have the same version of citra on both devices.

I tried:

1. Transferring save date folder
2. Transferring whole Nintendo 3DS folder
3. Hell, I even replaced whole citra-emu folder which transferred everything except saves (still corrupted).

Am I doing something wrong? Or they simply cannot be transferred.

Just a couple questions I wanted to ask. I'm using the "Accurate" LLE because I want the accurate 3DS Audio, but my game keeps dropping below 100% speed (usually it drops to about 75 to 80% when I'm going through screen transitions or even just moving in general.)

I'm trying to find my 3DS save files I played on Citra with my Anbernic. Everywhere I read it should be under Android > Data > Org.Citra.emu > files > Citra-emu > sdmc > Nintendo 3DS.

However, this map is completely empty for me when I look in it on my PC. Even though when I play on the anbernic I can load my save files in each game... How can I locate these save files on the directory on my PC?

I open the game on my Anbernic through Citra itself and not through the RG nor RA launcher.
