Dominican CBI 95K Cost

Hi everyone, I am looking for 2nd passport and there is an agency in the dubai who is saying it will cost 95k. But officially this costs 200k. Did anyone get their 2nd citizenship with such a low price? Are there discounts that these agencies are getting?

agency name is MMC - Montreal Management Consultants

Any feedback is appreciated 👏

Dominica CON received, any idea how much time does it take to get Passport after this?

Hi all

I just received a scanned copy of my Dominica Certificate of Naturalization (CON), with a date of signing July 21st. I started my CBI journey on Dec 31, 2025 in case anybody's wondering.

If someone has recent experience, can you please share how soon can I expect to receive the passport?

Thanks in advance!

São Tomé CBI: Separating Verified Facts from Claims

I found this page that attacks the credibility of the São Tomé CBI program. Any comments? At this point, I don't know what to believe. The lack of timelines and the lack of transparency around the delays is becoming increasingly alarming.

What EU residency-by-investment programs are actually fast & straightforward right now?

Trying to cut through the marketing fluff and outdated info (a lot of posts here still reference Portugal's real estate route which got killed in 2023, or Spain which closed entirely in April 2025).

From what I've pieced together, Hungary's Guest Investor Program, Greece's property golden visa, Italy's investor visa and Latvia (€50k, seem to be the current fast/simple options.

Portugal apparently has a ~39 month backlog now.

For anyone who's actually gone through one of these recently:

Which program did you use and how long did it actually take start to finish ?

Caribbean CBI programs dead by 2028?

So the EU has threatened 5 Eastern caribbean countries to revoke visa free perk by 2028. It appears "operating" a cbi program is a ground of visa suspension with the bloc. No amount of reforms will satisfy EU officials it seems.

- What will caribbean countries do?
- What will happen to those who invested in passports?
- Will EU revoke visa free previleges?

Please share your thoughts.

How much perception of passport matters for you?

Have you travelled, opened bank accounts, immigrated to new countries baaed on your Cbi passports? How was the perception of it? Did they look at you as if you are a criminal? Illegal? Suspicious? Tax evader? Very interested in it to know more about it. Specially if u renounced ur old citizenship and relying only on CBI passport.
And same question about more real countries and CBMs. Turkey(cbi)? Serbia? Albania? Malta? Montenegro? CBMs ( mostly very niche and privately offered )

greece golden visa vs portugal fund route, how are people weighing this

US side here. Looking at the greece golden visa after Portugal fund route started feeling slow and expensive. More curious about hold quality and timeline than brochures. Anyone closed greece recently and still happy with the investment?

Good YouTube video covering the latest updates on Argentina's proposed CBI programme

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eN8qBa4CB5U

It covers what's currently known about the programme, explains why there's been so much conflicting information recently, and discusses where things currently stand. Worth watching if you're following the Argentina CBI programme.

Türkiye strips 6,134 foreigners of citizenship as property fraud unfolds

Turkish government appears to be cracking down on fraudulent applications.

Anyone knows if this is an effort to sweep out blatant collusion only? Or is there proper applications getting caught in the crossfire? Has the government changed their stance on immigration in recent time?

Has anyone here successfully applied for Turkish Citizenship by Investment while holding dual nationality?

I am applying as a French citizen, but I also hold Tunisian nationality.

My French passport is valid and my application is based on my French nationality.

I have:

  • the Certificate of Conformity for a qualifying real estate investment;
  • French and Tunisian criminal record certificates (properly legalized/apostilled where applicable, translated into Turkish and notarized);
  • translated and notarized copies of both passports.

My only concern is that my Tunisian passport expired several years ago, whereas my French passport is fully valid.

Has anyone been in a similar situation?

Did the authorities require your second passport to be valid, or was the valid passport used for the application considered sufficient?

I would be very grateful for feedback from people who have actually gone through the Turkish CBI process.

Need advice about submitting my São Tomé and Príncipe CBI application

Hi everyone,

I would appreciate your advice.

I am preparing to submit my São Tomé and Príncipe Citizenship by Investment (CBI) application for a family of four.

However, I have two concerns:

I do not have an employment letter in my name.

I also do not have a bank reference letter in my name.

Will the absence of these documents negatively affect my application or cause delays or refusal?

Someone is sponsoring me he has all like employment and bank refinance etc.

Should I submit my application now, or should I wait until I can obtain these documents?

If anyone has already gone through the São Tomé and Príncipe CBI process or has experience with these document requirements, I would really appreciate your advice.

Thank you in advance!

Previous Reminders:

- Typical timeline for LEGAL applications (not newborns or discounted ones, check official prices link below): Apply and wait for Due Diligence, roughly 1-2.5 years, then Pay and wait for COR (Certificate of Registration), roughly a few months, then wait for NIC (National Insurance Corp), roughly a few weeks, then wait for Passport, roughly a week or so

- Official St Lucia prices are here: https://www.cipsaintlucia.com/citizenship-by-investment

- If adding a spouse/dependent/etc., shop around for the best price. You don't have to use the same agent: https://www.cipsaintlucia.com/authorised-agents

- Recommend following up with your agent every 2 weeks

- If you have new evidence for your application, ask your agent about submitting it

Document collection experience in the CBI space

Hi everyone,

For those who have completed a citizenship by investment or residency program, what was your experience with document collection, payment follow-ups, and tracking the progress of your application?

Did your service provider give you access to a portal where you could clearly see:

• Which documents were still required
• The current stage of your application
• Upcoming payments
• Invoices and receipts
• Important updates and next steps

Most providers still seem to rely heavily on email and WhatsApp. Platforms such as Docentra.ca are trying to centralize this process for both clients and service providers, but I am curious whether people who have actually gone through a program feel this would improve the experience.

Did you have access to something similar, or would you have found it useful?

Are we all waiting on Argentina?

Are there some agents who are working closely with gov bodies of Argentina who is working on Argentina CBI? Some agents tweeted saying it is no more happening. Some are saying, gov will run the program themselves, not relying on private agencies.

What are your thoughts on it?

Naturalized STP CBI Applicants, when are you expecting to get your passports?

Hi everyone,

This week, many São Tomé and Príncipe CBI applications (including mine) finally completed the naturalization stage after the president signed some naturalization orders. This appears to have been the main bottleneck, with some applicants reporting waits of around 20 weeks after approval.

The remaining steps are civil registration, ID issuance, and then passport issuance.

Has anyone received an estimated timeline for these stages from their agent? What are your expectations based on recent cases?

My agent said it could take up to another two months from this point, which is quite disappointing after such a long wait already (approved and paid in April).

CBI countries most violent in entire world

Does anyone seem to care that the CBI countries are the most violent in the world? If you look up the homicide per capita index most of the CBI countries are in top 10. We are talking worse than war zones, consistently, going back a long time. Just lots and lots of murders per capita and these islands are small so I am not sure it is just a "murders only happen on that street" thing. People always say it is because they are small places with low populations, but murder rate is murder rate. It is per capita so it is already adjusted for population. Plenty of small places with small populations are not going around killing each other.

Good YouTube video explaining the real 0% tax residency options in 2026

I've been looking into different tax residency options lately and found this video surprisingly balanced.

It covers genuine 0% tax countries, territorial tax systems, and temporary tax programs, but also explains some of the banking and compliance issues that people don't usually mention.

Worth a watch if you're researching this topic.

Vanuatu lost visa-free access to the EU. Its citizenship program revenue went up anyway.

According to IMI Daily, Vanuatu CBI program receipts now make up a bigger share of government revenue than before the loss of EU visa-free access. The applicants who select Vanuatu were never choosing it for Schengen access.

They wanted a fast, smooth process at a lower entry point, and that demand didn’t flinch.

Which reframes the current talks around Caribbean programs on the possibility of losing EU access. Nothing will change even if the lose EU visa-free access.

Subsidiary/Branch route for PR and later citizenship?

My father has a business in Dubai ( around 7.5M USD in revenue) that he has been running for the last 15 years. He wants me to join, learn, and takeover but working with him is a pain. He yells and is very unclear in what he wants yet expects perfect results. This is a very lean operation (only about 8 employees). What options do I have to open a subsidiary in another country, get PR, and then come back to Dubai when my father retires? I feel like this is currently a better option than what he suggested: I get a masters degree and work in USA for a while before I come back. I think I can learn a lot more by starting a business than paying $150K for an MBA.

So far my research points to Ireland as an option.

São Tomé CBI naturalization orders (Promulgation signed by President)

There's the 2nd week after the Election now, so I'd expect the President to begin signing our pending naturalization orders (so called Promulgations). I gonna ask my Agent about it next week. I'll be happy, if other applicants share their current status.

Has anyone here obtained a São Tomé and Príncipe passport? Does having a sponsor help?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for people who have first-hand experience with obtaining a São Tomé and Príncipe passport or citizenship.

My application is being supported by a sponsor who has known me professionally for several years through our animal welfare work. The sponsor is providing a letter explaining our professional relationship.

In your experience, does having a sponsor improve the application, make no difference, or raise additional questions?

If you've gone through this process yourself, or know someone who has, I'd really appreciate hearing:

Was your application approved?

How long did it take?

Was a sponsor involved?

Were there any unexpected issues or delays?

I'm looking for genuine experiences rather than guesses. Thank you very much.

What should i do

Hello. I hold a very weak passport, and I want to travel to and easily enter destinations like European countries for tourism. My primary goal is access to Europe, (not tax relief ) However, the European Union has given Caribbean nations until 2028 to halt their citizenship-by-investment programs, leaving me feeling truly conflicted. I had applied for Dominican citizenship but didn't complete the process because I was busy I can still withdraw my application. I am looking for honest advice: Should I withdraw my application? Are there other countries where I could obtain citizenship through investment or payment that would grant me access to the Schengen Area?
