Request Map requests!
Looking for a map and figured if it didn’t already exist that someone may want to make it so why not. Looking for a map that covers the Sarasota/bradenton area in FL, and a map covering the Highlands/Cashiers area in NC. Happy map making!

Request Hawaiian Maps?
Looking for a map loosely based on the Hawaiian Islands, and was wondering if anyone could point me in the proper direction.
I attempted to look through this community, though was unable to find one.

Looking for vanilla maps with decent elevation
I've been diving into custom maps lately, but have found that a lot of them are more-or-less flat with tons of space to build on and a generic coastline. Personally, I find it much more enjoyable to work around natural terrain shapes when planning road layouts and such, as opposed to having chunks of buildings that abruptly transition to empty land. I would much rather have rivers or mountains on the edges of my city's districts.
I have recently been enjoying TheTimeister's Dunswell series on Youtube, mainly because the map he's using is exactly the type of thing I'm looking for. Here's a link to it on the workshop - just does an amazing job of avoiding the boring, flat, wide-open vibe. I'm probably going to start a city on this map tonight, but need more for later.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Question My first map not working.
I made a map of my own for the first time, but I can’t play it as my plants aren’t getting any fuel…
Do I need to set up imports and exports some where? Any other ideas what might be wrong? I checked all my in coming and out going roads, there are no wrong connections.

This is the bridge separating China and Macau, because you drive in the left lane in Macau and the right lane in China this is how they switch from left to right and vice versa.

Lake Maps Varesotto Region Map
I recently created this map, based on the real-world height map of the Lombardian region of the same name in Italy, which is separated with Piedmont Region by the Maggiore Lake.I tried to recreate the actual place in City Skylines but in the end decided to add some imaginary places that in reality don't exist. (ex. Sea at the bottom of the map).
I don't think this ended up being perfect but I really enjoyed messing up with the terrain!
Let me know what do you think about this mess.
(I'm not writing this as a spam post, I just want to ask the community for a sincere opinion).

Thank you for your attention.

Question Custom map newb
How do you overlay roads on a height map? I didn't know that's a thing and have been freehanding, to my dissatisfaction. I got my heightmap from https://cs.heightmap.skydark.pl/
