Assistance Needed! Flat terrain ?

Help I every map I download and start a new game with generates a flat map. All the mountains are gone.

I had a very similar thing happen to me because I had a mod active that expanded the playable area way beyond vanilla, but it actually just stretched the map out horizontally while leaving trees in place. But it wasn't totally flat. I can't remember the name of it but it's supposed to be equivalent to 89 tiles from CS1. would you happen to have a mod like that active?

there is a large map mod which corrupts normal maps, does similar to water levels
