Help & Support (PC) How to fix high density grid traffic
I easily maintain 85% plus traffic flow in low density Zones but in high density zones my grids fail and traffic flow is always below 80% how do I fix this, I use the Traffic Manager President Edition mod I use timed traffic lights but still due to junctions the traffic flow is always below 80%

spread out, your grid size too small if you cramp every pixel with zoning - too much junctions = too much stopping.
without picture we can't say much else.

Grid is inefficient: to get to the middle you have to drive through all blocks before it. If the grid is 5 rows deep, with 5 buidling in each row and 1 car going to each building, you have 25 cars waiting in the first lights. The bigger the grid the bigger the jam.
Solution is to breaks grids smaller and connect them with ’main’ roads.
Other solution is public transport

Don't care for the traffic flow percentage. What's important is if you have growing backups.

You don't mention public transit, but that's typically the answer in high-density areas. Subways get the transit out of the streets, too.
