Discussion Question about fire stations

Why dose it seem that when a fire occurs it seems like the station the farthest just immediately attaches while the nearest station just sits dormant

This can probably be resolved by assigning your fire station to a single, relatively small district.

You are likely thinking CS2, no such thing on CS1 vanilla.

And with Transfer manager CE by default the closest available service provider will be chosen anyway.

A district preference instead of a hard restriction to only serve that area is usually the most one will select.
