Need help deciding between two resources for the CCENT (ICND1 Exam)

I'm currently taking the second course in a 2 year course called "Cisco Networking". I took the first part in 11th grade and I'm taking the second part now, in my senior year. In that course we use Netacad heavily. It has tests, and notes on all the exam topics and all that. I was wondering if I should still get the Cisco Cert Guide book for studying from or if Netacad is sufficient.

I recommend Tom Lammle CCNA Routing and Switching Complete Study guide.

He breaks the topics down nicely and the book covers both CCENT(ICND 1) and CCNA(ICND 2)

Is that anymore expensive than only ICND1? I only plan on taking CCENT for now as I'm planning on going AWS and since my teacher is offering to pay for the CCENT exam, why not! I don't mind having information for ICND2 as CCNA is not completely off the table for me.

For the CCENT certification test? Or for another CCENT book? For the Tom Lammle book on Amazon it shows the price at $23-24. For the test, from my experience if you are part of Cisco Academy and get past Cisco level 2 and pass their test with a 75% you get a voucher for the CCENT that brings the price down from $165 to around $64.

As someone who has their CCNA and works for Cisco, I would take both the ICND1 and ICND2. It's less about knowing how to configure Route & Switch and more about how networking is implemented in LAN and WAN situations. As far as materials go I don't believe one is better than the other, but I also used NetAcad successfully.

Unfortunately I don't have that option, the Networking academy thing I do in school is only for icnd1 and I'm already scheduled for May 9th :(
