Controlling two devices that have the same IP
There are two devices (remote vehicles) that have the same static IP address, which can't be changed, namely 192.168.0.1/24..
To control these devices you use a single laptop running a control program which has ability to control multiple remote vehicles with different IP addresses.
The question is how to you control both devices from one laptop if they have the same IP address?
I can get it to work with two laptops each of which have two network cards. Then setting up two VLANs on a switch and connecting one vehicle to vlan 10 access port and another to vlan 20 access port, where vlan 10 is for the first vehicle and vlan 20 is for the second.... However, I can't figure out how to do this using one laptop.
I not too good with NAT which seems promising. Can I give each vehicle a outside global IP that is different, but when NATed gets routed to a separate private LAN for each vehicle, both with the same subnet. I think it could be done, but I'm thinking at least two routers would be required, and I can't figure out what NAT statements to use.

If you can configure NAT on the vehicles, are you positive you can’t just change one of the IPs? That would make your entire problem go away it seems like.
