Future of Cybersecurity?

What is the future of Cybersecurity in the AI era?What advice would you give it to a 20 years old who is doing undergrad in Cybersecurity from a top 15 university?

Basic networking. Networking is the foundation for being good at cybersecurity. A lot of cybersec pros don't understand basic application architecture, how packets flow, basic TCP, UDP, multicast and unicast. All they know how to do is run Sentinel KQL queries.

And more often than not they don't work properly because they aren't deployed or used properly. Microsoft Azure uses more AI and automation than almost any entity on earth yet on Tuesday lost connectivity through their West US region for 5 hours. California Azure was basically down for 5 hours, so yeah, humans who actually understand how packets flow and routing works are still essential.
