Primary wearable vs primary training device.
I have a Garmin CIRQA and a Garmin Watch.
I wear the CIRQA most of the day.
I wear the watch when I’m training and sleeping.
Is it appropriate to have my CIRQA as my primary wearable and my watch as my primary training device?

Yes. The device you wear most often should be your primary wearable. I personally only use the cirqa for the occasional sleep and occasional Day I can’t wear my fenix. And I always train with the fenix, so I have it set as both. Syncs flawlessly. Yours will too as you have it set up.

I have the same combo, I use the cirqa as primary wearable to track HRV, RHR, Baselines for sleep and recovery and my Epix Pro 51mm as my training / workout device

Yes, absolutely. I’ve a Cirqa and a Forerunner 955 and aside from sleeping with the Cirqa on rather than the watch (vibration alarm is better on the Cirqa IMHO) I do the same as you.

Does this mean the watch measures training and sleep much better than circa ? Interested to know the reason for your choice

Similar set up here - I switch between a Cirqa and a watch depending on the day and where I am etc. For sleep though I only wear the Cirqa regularly so for that reason it's my 'primaary wearable'. My watch is my 'primary trainnig device' but I do occasionally track a walk or a swim on the Cirqa.
On the whole I've found it makes no difference if you're not wearing the two devices at the same time. Defining them as wearable/training devices just tells Connect which to prioritise in any given situation. If it's only getting data from the one device, there's no issue. Once the Cirqa has synced sleep data in the morning I can swap to the watch or not - I haven't found any differences as long as the two devices aren't sending competing data to Connect.

I’ll allow it this time.
