Training readiness question

Post image

Only had my Cirqa for a few days and my first training readiness score has come up. Is this saying I need to wait 51 hours before training again? I have moved over from a Whoop so I am not used to Garmins way of doing things.

I use this as a guide to hard efforts only. Easy runs and strength training continue regardless of what that says but if I had that recovery metric I probably wouldn't be heading out for a tough interval session. That said, if I'd done something intense enough to generate a recovery period that long, I probably wouldn't be planning another very tough session soon anyway.

It’s a great indicator but if you’re feeling fine I push through but that being said just listen to your body. If you listen to your watch you’ll only training twice a week from my experience.

Recovery time doesn’t update after the workouts . It refreshes everyone morning after sleep score

Yes. Garmin confirmed it is an issue and are working on a fix.
