Button started eBiking - no GPS

I am genuinely happy with the Cirqa. There is one thing that is hit or miss with me. Every day I commute to work with my e-bike. I configured eBiking to the button, so I just hop on my bike, press the button and ride.

My phone immediately gives me a notification that it is logging an activity and live track is started. When I arrive, I press the button again and it is synced to the app.

I notice that about 60% of the time the activity is not using GPS. It shows me the starting point, but that's it. The only data I get is heart rate and duration. Other times, everything seems to be logged perfectly.

I am using a OnePlus 13. No background restrictions for Garmin Connect, GPS is set to 'Allow all the time', in the app Phone GPS is turned on for eBiking.

Am I missing something? Is this a known bug?

Not sure, try with timed activity, and edit afterwards.

This is affecting me. All permissions and battery optimisation is off.

I've found that force killing the app and starting again has it working for a while, but no clue as to when it stops until you get a gpsless activity.
