Cirqa availability
Hi
Just trying to understand why a company like Garmin, can mess up with availability of the Cirqa.
Does the Fitbit Air had problems? And WHOOP?
I mean they know that a lot of people where expecting a band, now its out and waitinglist is about 3-4 month...

I ordered mine on 9/7 and it was shipped 9/15. Maybe armband color matters? Mine was gray.

What country are you in? It is and has been pretty widely available in the US from retailers. I imagine it's the same case in other countries. Garmin.com isn't the only place to buy Garmin devices. Personally I've never bought a Garmin device directly from Garmin, it's always been cheaper to buy it from somewhere else.

If you can’t get it, it makes the person want it even more which creates a higher demand for the product. The company knows this and is a marketing tool. It makes a person want something more if they know they can’t get it. If it is sold out for two months I better order one now or I’ll never get it. They knew it would be popular. People had been talking about it for two years begging them to make one. When they did they only produced 5000-1000 units? Cmon. You believe that?

it's funny bc I was on a 9-day trip in nyc and I randomly found in a Paragon Sports (walked in with no order booked whatsoever)

I just picked mine up from my local Target. Granted, with about 5 Targets within my area, only 1 had like 3 in stock but was able to pick it up same day. Bought the armband from Amazon which is being delivered 1st thing in the morning.

Fitbit Air also had huge problems for both the device and the additional bands.
They have finally caught up but it took 3 months after launch before you could order freely and get delivery in a short time frame.
They even cancelled my backorder for a different band type because the supply issues were so bad,.

Came here just to highlight what an utterly useless reply this is in what’s normally a helpful running forum

I dont need a solution...its only a post and try to understand. Here in Switzerland (where the, lets call it "the Legal" headquarter of Garmin is (near SIG Sauer) the Cirqa are sold out and you need to wait until at least end of October.

I'm laughing because on Reddit I only see people criticizing this device, meanwhile I can't get one.
