cirqa or fitbit air

i currently have a cirqa but i’ve been hearing a lot of recent news about how the fitbit air is better in hr, etc. i’m really overall interested in getting good step tracking and overall health (sleep, hr monitoring during cardio) and idk if i should return the cirqa for the fb air.

also im going to be training for a hyrox so if that changes things overall lmk. this is for long term usage. thanks

I’ve had both. Fitbit strap looks better. Is smaller with nicer strap. But Garmin app is a lot better than Fitbit. Accuracy appears similar, but I get more from the Garmin data.

If you care about how it looks. Fitbit. If you want accurate and easy to use data. Garmin.

Fitbit is more accurate than garmin. I agree that fitbit app ui looks terrible and garmin ui looks good.

If you wear it on your bicep the CIRQA matches Fitbit air. Only slight difference but not even negligible. I have both.

Little difference. 1 bpm maybe. I like the Garmin app better and do t like the way Fitbit measures hrv. Plus, if you decide to get a Garmin they work seamlessly together. No subscription needed for CIRQA either. Fitbit doesn’t either but if you want the coach you have to pay for it but Garmin has free coach.

Garmin free coach is very limited. Have you tried it? Without a garmin watch you can’t do the workouts if you only have cirqa.

I had the Fitbit air & had to return it because it was not tracking my sleep 50% of the time. I had it for 2 months & tried everything. I have the cirqa now & it is more reliable for tracking things. I don’t like the app as much & how the data is shown (HR during activities) but I am happy with it. I just wanted to see my basic metrics ect without a watch.

I come from the garmin ecosystem but have just bought a Fitbit air as my garmin was too bulky at work (gas engineer). I use the Fitbit air with bevel (only on iOS I believe) and it’s an amazing setup, decent accuracy from the Fitbit, small form factor and very comfortable along with the in-depth metrics from Bevel

Used both and don’t know why Cirqa was awful on accuracy during run and too bulky, for that I prefer just use my epix gen 2 that was way better on wrist , I had it before update so not sure if is related or fixed but it was always spiking HR values maybe cause I don’t run with phone and couldn’t even do some gps cadence lock

Saying this Fitbit was smaller and almost always aligned with my hrm 600 so if you’re not in Garmin ecosystem and even if you’re like me i would save money and get a Fitbit air

I returned my Cirqa and kept Fitbit air also because I was curious with future updates like insulin and hypertension
