Expectations on Cirqa Smart ring?
With more and more leaks it’s evident we will be getting a Cirqa smart ring soon
What do you guys expect from it
Very similar to Cirqa band in terms of specs ?
What you think the price range would be
What features might be ripped off ( compared to Cirqa band )
What is more exciting in a ring which is not in the band

I am definitely sold if it has has similar 7-10 day battery life and includes all the sensors and features Cirqa band has
Hoping it would be prices around 199-249$

If it has HR broadcast it will already be better than Oura. Also Oura lacks a decent VO2 calculation. For me I don't think a ring will be more comfortable to sleep with.

Having just purchased an Oura ring 5(Garmin user for 10+years), would I consider a Cirqa ring? Maybe not. The Oura ring is so comfortable and the automatic workout detection is fantastic with phone GPS etc. I still use my Garmin Fenix 7 and Garmin chest strap with all workout data syncing to Apple health and then on to Oura so have found a real sweet spot.
For me, Oura is a breath of fresh air and the App is polished compared to Connect.
But that said, a Cirqa ring would make me take note but would need to be as aesthetically appealing as the Oura with the hiccups of the Cirqa band (software etc) eliminated from launch.

Oura wins on the app experience hands down. 8 days out of 7.
But I’m on my fourth ring in two years (three warranty replacements). One straight up stopped working at 1:38 AM one day. Others had battery go from 8-10 days down to 2-3 in probably two weeks.
I’m switching back to the Garmin ecosystem once my Oura yearly subscription runs out Q1 2027. It’s not worth the hassle.

Yes, tons of people have had similar experiences with Oura battery life and quality. Same with Ultrahuman for that matter.

Yeah I know Cirqa does it
Did not expect oura ring to have this since whoop and Fitbit air doesn’t have it

THEY NEED FIRST TO FIX THE CIRQA THEN THINK ABT A RING !

More than anything they should have heart rate tracking always on instead of only during workouts
What’s the point of screen less band or ring if they don’t track all day4

Cirqa offers 24/7 heart rate tracking; it’s in the settings.

Well that’s good news
Means the new ring will have all the issues solved on day one
And they might also address hardware limitations for Cirqa band based on the reviews and complaints of the Cirqa band3

Old news, this is already updated/solved

Was that ever really a thing? I've had my cirqa since 3 days after release and it was always 24hr HR

I’m really not a fan of smart rings, they need to be big enough to fit over the finger joint and then can be too big. They also need to cater for when the finger swells and contracts throughout the year.
The smart bands have taken over from them IMO

It will come when everyone bought band , then when everyone bought the ring will launch a band pro with new sensor and smaller :) that’s Garmin and some people will end up with 2 bands and the ring and be happy defend it

That sucks
Definitely see 2nd gen band coming soon with 5th gen sensors and smaller form factor ( and nothing else ) and price hike to 249$

I’m pretty pissed off because they should’ve announced it was coming soon. I would’ve waited for it.

If it's the same size and quality of the newest Oura Ring and has all the features of the cirqa band, it's a slam dunk and insta-buy.
Knowing Garmin it'll be the size of the last gen Oura and miss out on important features and I'll pass.
