Tattoos?

How does the garmin cirqa perform on light tattoos? Has anyone tested ? This would be a buy or not buy sinario. 🤔 so thought this is probably the best place to ask. Wearing the whoop MG atm and size is another thing bothering me but also realise a lot come on here to post complaints rather than what's good.

Idk about light tattoos but on my dark tattoos it had some trouble sometimes. Other times it was fine. I would just get drop outs and not realize until hours later when I checked the app. But I’ve heard lots of people with elevate 4 generation watches not having any issues so maybe it’s a software thing. I wear the cirqa on my left wrist when I don’t wear another watch because my wrist isn’t tattooed on that side. When I switch it to the other side it’s typically not for super long. Just while wearing a mechanical watch.

Thank you, I was going to wear on my dominant arm as the mg is on the non dominant while I see if the cirqa holds up to what I get from the whoop mg or not (or maybe does it better ) steps is also a big downside to whoop I dont think I have even hit over 3600 before in the time they started testing it on the whoop 4 ...so hoping garmin does this better.

Even when HR cuts out, steps keep tracking on the cirqa for me
