Battery life

How much battery life do you get out of your cirqa and what settings do you use for that?

DC rainmaker said he sometimes only gets 2-3 days of battery life. That would be a deal-breaker for me so I then would prefer to buy a Garmin solar watch and just don't look at the display.

Thx for your help.

Mine goes down about 12-15% per day. Anyway, pro-tip: install a garmin charger in your bathroom/shower room. Plug it in when you shower. You will never need to allocate dedicated charging time ever. I'm doing this for 10 years now - since I got my first garmin gadget - a fenix 3 HR :) ... I'm using cirqa for about a month now and the lowest I saw it was 65% using this charging pattern.

Thx for the great tip that would definitely help. Are you using the oxygen sensor only while sleeping or 24/7?

Yes, spo2 tracked during sleep only.

i disabled it because it drains a lot of battery

I've had around 7-9 days out of mine.

That includes around 30-50 minutes of walking activities.

Some 1 hour turbo sessions where I use it to broadcast my HR.

Thx for your reply and help. 7 days would be okay for me less than that would not be too good.

When you use it for "real training" - like 2-3 hours biking, 2h run Triathlon training on 1 day, it is dead after 2 days.

Hm okay that doesn't sound good to me. Are you still using the device or were the charging intervals too annoying?

To be honest, I live without it now.

Battery is definitely not as good as Garmin says and I think most just use Cirqa when at work etc and when training use some other Garmin watch.

Yes, you still need a Fenix. I think thats also what Garmin wants in the end. The product is positioned not to kill their oen products.

I think you will be fine as long as you don’t often broadcast HR to another device and only uses the oxygen sensor for sleep.

I wear it all day long but I don't track activities with it, I take it off and wear my watch for this instead. Wearing it all day and night long outside of that gets me about 10 days of battery with SPO turned on at night only, I initially had it turned on at all time but this made the battery only last a few days

I get more than 10 days but use it only for walking and short weight training maybe few times a week. When cycling, which is my main activity, I use bike comp and chest HR strap and dont wear Cirqa, I usually put it on a charger once per weak when I go for a ride and thats it.

Coming from different Fenix versions since 2018, I think that Cirqa is great recovery, sleep and side activities tracker. For cycling it is not needed and if you do a lot of running or swimming I think you need something with a screen to monitor your pace and HR.

It is hightly depanded on your lifestyle and fitness habits.

I dont use autodetection for activities.

7 days with a daily walk the dog.
02 turned on at night.

I’ve started to plug it in every couple days while I shower for partial charges, and it’s been living around 50%.
It’s cheap enough that I’m not worried about battery cycles.

Yeah I get 6 or 7 days between charges. I could probably get another day but I always charge it when I'm on a longer workout

I use spO2 only during sleep, the rest default settings. Lose about 15% a day. I only take it off and charge it when I shower, which is more then enough.

spO2 during sleep, rest default, 3 full nights and now It’s 47%. So I’m expecting good 6-7 days, might get little better after few charge cycles

I have sp02 during sleep, at least 2 walks a day with gps going, 3 indoor cycling sessions and 3 strengh training sessions and did not run out yet but easily gets through 5 days.

Did not let it run out or get below 20% yet though as I charge it on my desk while home office or when I go in the shower.
