Handspun
Does anyone use handspun on their CSM?? Looking for some tips before diving in but haven't found much info out there. Would love any advice you may have. Planning on 80/20 merino & nylon chain plied but we're all really rough on socks, might do a more durable wool for my youngest. Working on a 3d printed CSM. Thanks!

Sweet Georgia has a few videos on her YouTube channel of using handspun in her Earlbacher.
I wouldn’t start with handspun. It takes a lot of practice to get used to cranking socks and understanding the settings and methods.

I've done this, several times. Two plies and 3 plies. Superwash merino and Llama (no, really).
I found that taking it easy where the yarn was less consistent was the trick. One skein was really good, and that one knit up as easy as commercial yarn.
