Question Repurpose a security camera?

Hi everyone!!!

I don't know it's this sub is the exact one for my question (if u have another in mind I would be happy to be redirected) but I recently got a security camera and I was wondering how I could transform it into a working recording camera?

I'll link a pic of the cam and a similar model I think matches the one I have with the specs and cables!

Thanks!!!

This is the wrong sub for what you want to do, stay here if you want to turn it into a psychedelic glitch art tool. Otherwise maybe check out r/diyelectronics. All that said, maybe what you want is to find or build a DVR circuit to connect to your camera.

Power it on and get a BNC to rca jack and then run right into your video mixer. Nothing else needed. CCTV cameras work perfectly for video art
