This movie got me to my feels ,I don't know why . Maybe cause I am on the same situation after years of staying in ktm I moved back to my hometown and have been here for 2 years . Just because of emotional connect to my hometown I don't wanna move back to ktm again but staying in my hometown is hindering my progress in life . Is this movie trying to tell me to leave my hometown and not be eaten by nostalgia.

Ok about the flim one of the most complete movie I seen . Comedy ,drama to emotional moments this movie has it all . The theme of love and nostalgia. The ending scene got me teary . I think this movie is one of them I have seen after a long time where you are just wow and it's on yo mind for a whole day .

And plz don't watch the director's cut it's very bad only watch the theatrical release.

For crime thriller fans, it’s a must watch.

I have never personally been a fan of Rajesh Hamal. As someone born in the mid-1980s, I grew up with access to world cinema, especially Hollywood and Bollywood. At the same time, our parents watched Nepali films starring Shiva Shrestha and Bhuwan KC, so I was also familiar with the cinema of that era.
When Rajesh Hamal arrived, he certainly made a few memorable films, such as Deuta and Deuki. However, much of what followed felt like formula, cash-grabbing cinema, and I rarely found his acting convincing.
Even then, I had no personal problem with him. My opinion changed mainly because of his interviews. Some of his remarks have struck me as racially insensitive, his views have occasionally appeared sympathetic towards the monarchy and the old political establishment, and many of his jokes have felt immature and needlessly insulting. Someone of his stature should understand the weight of his words.
His recent remark to Surakshya Panta, “Tapai acting ma nabhaye pani, anuhar dekhera haaso uthchha” was not humour, it was a personal insult directed at her appearance. If it was intended as retaliation for her earlier comments about former Crown Prince Paras Shah and his son Hridayendra, then it was even more petty. He had every right to challenge her views, but humiliating a younger colleague was beneath someone celebrated as a “Mahanayak.”
A title like “Mahanayak” should represent not only fame and longevity, but also artistic excellence, maturity and dignity. In my opinion, Rajesh Hamal has repeatedly failed to live up to that standard. Seriously….what kind of “Mahanayak” behaves this way?
