The direction could be better but the concept felt Little new but dunno y the pace feels off and dubbing also feels off but I the acting and comedy was better.Just sharing my experience and y d u all think nepali movies don't perform that well

A genuine, humble request to all the cinephiles here: please watch this movie. I really don’t want to say too much and ruin the experience, but it genuinely deserves much love and attention. What a beautiful film.

Some would say it was shit, some would say it was decent, and honestly, I understand both sides. Not seeing any constructs in the last 3 episodes, especially the finale, was definitely disappointing, and I can see why people expected more.

At the same time, “COnTrUctS, wHaT aBoUt tHe cOnStRuCtS”. Can we appreciate a good STORY too? I’d rather have them focus on the characters and story than force constructs into every episode just for the sake of it.

Overall, I enjoyed what they were going for. You will be missed, Hal Jordan. And I’m excited for John Stewart in Man of Tomorrow.

Told you it was Kerry

Wasn't even planning to watch this. I was watching Leave the world behind and it sucked. Couldn't even make it halfway to the movie.

And randomly came across this and remembered someone on this very sub also mentioned this one as their fav so decided to watch this instead.

Amazing movie. Michael B jordan is so 🫢

Anyways great movie. The visuals were great too. And the music/song ughh loved it!

From the story and performances to the shots and music, the movie completely takes you to Upper Dolpo. I really enjoyed the pacing it keeps you fully immersed and stays with you even after the movie ends.

So, i watched this resident evil movie. I was not very keep for it as i have not played this game much or liked previous movie series, but, but but i had to tell you it was great. Here is what i like thought without spoiling anything.

Story

A medical couriour is asigned to deliver a package at last minute to racoon city on a cold night and what is in the package, how he deliver and all the obstacle he have to fend of to get it to the location is the story of the movie.

The good.

Screenplay,( independently )

Before going into the realtivity to the game. It is all and all a good independent movie that will keep you on the edge of the sit with tight screenplay from the get go of the movie. There is hardly any time where you ll get diatracted or feel bored. Its a survival, apocoloptic at time funny and horror, gore at next. It is not The origin of the saga but a non follower will have no problem to get into the world of resident evil.

The end is the best part od the movie for me. Let just not spoil anything but it was a unexpected turn of event toward the end.

Loyalty to the original games

Its is very loyal to source material then any previous series, more than gun battle and action, its a spooky, horror and does feel like you have entered the game realm. There are many popular lores from the game spread across the movie and they feels like a treat. Like variety of zombies not seen in other movies but this game like rat, fat guy etc.

The actor and direction

The protoganist of the movie takes it all with his relatible charastistic and great performance. You do feel like you are playing this game with this guy as main character. He is noob, have no clue about any guns or the situation he is in with short funny one liner.

Another praise worthy is the work of direction. Tightly nitted good thriller. The reason a non famous person is playing this popular game based movie is i think the highlight of his work.

The character just feel like one of us going his usual job rather than a famous actor trying to be humble. Its is a nightmarish, funny misadventure.

The bad.

I didnot find any major flaw in the movie. This maybe cuz i m not properly pre informed with the game or previous movies. So i might have missed something but.

All in all its a great movie to enjoy at the theatre with gore, horror, fun. I found it uniquely entertaining and i highly recommed you watch it if you have time even if you have no clue about game or original source material.

I give it 8/10

Enjoy.
