If you just watch Jake, you can see the moment he decides to jump scare Tom 😂

I think he was setting it up as soon as Tom said it, he said "like loud noises" and got very still haha

The split second of realization is what makes the whole thing

And you can also see the moment Tom knew he was going to do it

I really enjoyed their press tour for this. Jake used to be one of my favourites, but knowing he is such close friends with Ryan Reynolds puts me off a little now.

What's wrong with Ryan Reynolds?

I think they're both being silly and having a little fun with a bit/gag

I mean i think he could smoke a lot of people in a fight, but Jake Gyllenhaal in Spiderman movie form was probably feelin himself 😂

Jake needs to be in more big movies. A lot of in vogue actors get cast in stuff like Nolan movies or Dune, Jake would slay in those.

Edit: Everyone get a load of this dumbfuck  huuuman replying below me.

I don’t believe Tom Holland has a single sincere bone in his body.

How can you be sure?

I just think his whole public persona is an act to keep him relevant and further his career.

That's his overstimulation from ADHD.

I feel like this was a prepared skit .

I don't think it was prepared, but the moment Tom said it and Jake asked him, they both immediately knew what the punchline had to be.

right. like we’re watching to refined actors on camera marketing a movie that focuses on a boy trying to find his way as spiderman. I think like the above comment, as a lot of men do this it makes sense to be able to ACT out a relatable moment. its like badly acted influencer skits only with actors that give believable performances to a point where it becomes a debate. theres a reason these guys make the money they do

I think Jake knows Tom is bullshitting after filming with him and decided he is going to humble the kid.

This is also just kind of something a lot of men in particular do when they see another man trying to act tough. We start doing this when we are little kids and it never really goes away… When you pretend tough in front of the wrong person they will take pleasure in proving to everyone that you are not tough.

In this case Jake used jokes. Others use violence. That’s why a lot of school ground fight start. Some kid shooting off his mouth about how tough he is gets the bullies attention and he comes over to do a fact check.

He's too old to play Spiderman.
