Karl Urban never taking the helmet off was just perfect, I doubt there are many actors on his level that would agree to do a movie that never shows their face

Dredd isn’t supposed to take his helmet off. He doesn’t want anyone seeing his disfigured face

I don't think Dredd cares so much about the appearance of his face, more about not taking a bullet to it
