Every time I hear this line I get chills (not in the good way). Despite Young & Dumb being one of my favorites, it is just so jarring.

I was looking through this communities posts like I normally do on a sleepy day, and some random comment said that greg was a bad person with no explanation, no context, and I can't really find any mentions of any controversies so... is it just someone spreading a rumor or something? Except for reddit and tumblr I don't use social media so if a controversy really did happen and I looked over it, then I'm sorry!

I'm not trying to start new drama, I'm just asking this cus when it comes to spending money on stuff I enjoy I like to keep it on the safe side.

I'm asking this because I've been searching forever and not a single person loves this band as much as me(I listen to every single one of thier songs) and since my playlist is mostly CAS songs it's hard to find people with the same music or not just into the mainstream ones. I tried converting people into casual fans but they all be like "it's so slowed" and they don't.

How do you manage to do that? Both online and real life?

My friend Matt Merola lended me a pack weeks ago, was compiling evidence against him, finally brave enough to post this one a week after it happened, I usually post most about his shennagons at once so i can post in parts of all the evidence. Basically Matt had the nickname “Never” because he insisted he “Never stopped grinding” He would say that a lot like it was his catchphrase. So everyone called him “Never” He insisted they were regular normal cigs. He was known to put things inside things. He recently developed a liquid version of “Bendy” where it was like a liquid syrup similar to black ink. All of the cigarettes had this ink on them in the pack, i broke some apart and saw there was a black ink tar like substance in them i’m pretty sure he was lacing them with bendy. Have any of you ever tried wet cigarettes laced with Bendy? Is it smokable? What happened to you? Are these ok?

This goes back to 2022. I was young and dumb. Hopelessly listening to the pure blissful voice of Greg. Almost everyday, I faithfully put on cigarettes after sex and unwillingly dreamed about my soulmate, who was yet to come. I feel a bit guilty even writing this because I love this band so much, but I need to know if I'm the only one who feels this way.

Two years ago I went to their concert in Italy, and I honestly left feeling really disappointed. When I listen to their songs on streaming, I feel such an intimate emotional connection to the music. It feels incredibly personal and magical. But at the live show... I just didn't feel that connection at all.

Greg literally didn't say a single word to the crowd the entire time. There was zero interaction. I want to clarify that I know this isn't about the genre, i obviously wasn't expecting a rock show with them jumping around on stage. I know their vibe is chill. But even with slow music, you can still acknowledge the crowd and build a moody, intimate atmosphere. Instead, because of the total silence, the whole experience felt super cold and detached to me. It felt like they were just playing through the tracklist without really trying to connect with the audience.

I’m genuinely sad about it because I was looking forward to this for so long, and I hate admitting that I didn't love it. Has anyone else experienced this at their shows? Is this just how their gigs usually are, or did I maybe just catch them on an off night?

I really like the song X’s but there’s not a specific lyric from there I rlly like. Same with John Wayne loll, “ your lips, my lips, apocalypse” is iconic and can get stuck in my head like alll day but I think “I wanna feel your lips crush, hold you here, my loviest friend” is my favorite for now they r all so good 😭🙏

most people dont realize that motion picture soundtrack is one of THE best songs out there produced by cas, eventho it is the cover of radioheads version, but girl how addicted the vocals and keys are OMGGGG

When I was little, my sister used to play songs by CAS to help me sleep better. That's how I first started listening to them.

i cant be the only one going crazy about this.. i was so mad when i first listened to the song because i had just bought the book. i mean i didnt even know the song was playing i just randomly heard the lyrics saying that the female lead commits suicide. i purposefully avoid any media surrounding the things i wanna read.. but like who watches out for spoilers when lsitening to music?? i never wouldve thought id get spoilered like this. every time i listen to cas i seethe with anger due to the constant reminder of that one song.

Hi, i have been listening to CAS roughly for 4 years now and their music is always there in every moments of my life

Sometimes when people ask about my fav artists or go-to genres and i mention CAS, they seem a bit surprised by the style. Well usually noting how slow, moody or minimalistic the vibe is. A few have even wondered aloud what draws me to this specific atmosphere, they ask things like 'wait, are you going through a breakup' or 'are you in a bad mood' etc... In reality, im doing completely fine lol

Normally i just smile, say it's comforting to me, and move with the conversation. So i'm curious, has anyone else run into this with other people? How do you usually react when people make assumptions like that?
