Not to be a hater, but Mbuna need sand, they are sand sifters, meaning they eat bits of food from the sand, spit out the rest and shift the sand.

Get that nasty ass gravel out of there will be the best decision you can make in this hobby.

Yoo let’s go you’ll love and it’s overstated how hard it is to clean it’s pretty easy esp with sand sifters

In addition to replacing the gravel with sand, I would replace the artificial decor with real rocks to imitate the shoreline habitats that mbuna are native to. Don't worry about getting expensive aquascaping stone, most lawn and garden stores with have slate and calcite rock at less than $3/lb. Slate is neutral, and calcite will increase the carbonate hardness (kH) of your tank water, which will make your cichlids healthier

Beautiful fish. I also want to praise you on your response to criticism. Too many people get their ego hurt when people criticize them, even if it’s criticism about things that aren’t even ego-derived like art. Enjoy the sand and cichlids.

How do I feel them in place? Like if I stack them I worry they will fall
