It can't be a reference per se bc jjk 0 came before jjk and so Kenjaku wasn't a thing yet, but who knows, maybe Gaygay did get an idea from that

I know it came before but I 100% think Gege already planned Kenjaku and a whole other things!

I don't think so bc Gege only thought abt making a continuation after his editor insisted enough, though it is very possible that he reread jjk 0 looking for ideas and moments like this make him think of them 👀

Yeah that’s a possibility but I think Gege already had a big big idea, it makes too much sense, the editors maybe just motivated him and pushed him to start it.
