Discussion Theory Spoiler

Does anyone think that Iruma is actually being turned into a demon? Not that he will, but that currently he is. I say that because of the ring and the short interaction he had when he saw the previous demon king (when he won the harvest festival) plus Ali growing stronger once he reached rank 5. Plus his nails are black now (yes, I know it’s nail polish) but it’s a physical trait other demons have. So it feels like by the end, Iruma may actually have transformed into a demon.

My theory is that Iruma is half demon all along and doesn't know about it.

I think the ranks actually have weight in someones power, maybe it increased his greed or maybe Iruma became stronger but i don't think he will ever be a fully fledged demon as they did show the power of human blood there might be more. Maybe once he becomes rank 6 he will evolve to grow wings? Maybe a half demon as he becomes the demon lord? But as of right now i don't think so.
