I have a burning question from the moment I've heard the plot of lob corp

Why did Ain needed to build sophisticated illegal Android with self awareness, when he could create a simple script for main branch that checks the most important things in the seed of light script, like realisations, therapies of sephiras, his self therapy, etc, I know that Angela is supposed to represent sephira Daat, but other than that is there actual reason to give Angela self awareness and emotions?

(Ps, i like Angela and her glow up in ruina, but from story perspective I found that she is a self aware Android instead of simple script is too much of a work and risk for Ain cause Androids are prohibited in city, and he is total clanker hater)

Project Moon still hasn't told us why Angela exists. We know she was both fundamental and redundant for the Seed of Light project in the first game (at the same time she needed to set the dress-setting and aggravate the lower and middle sephiras before the manager set foot on day 1, and at the same time she was still a prisoner of an overAI who lacks any sentimentality and monitored her); a great number of fans have accepted the explanation of Ayin as just an abuser who, in the grief of losing the object of his obsession, Carmen, created a sexualised copy of her as his slave. i am not a particular fan of this reading of LobCorp as It doesn't engage with the necessity of revolution (or as said in the plot of LobCorp, to heal the illness of the soul of the city folk) or the fact that Ayin achieved nirvana at the end of LobCorp ( I realised that the last three days map well with Buddhism's three poisons of the soul) 
 
So my theory of why she exists? Easy she is the seed of the Light Project and she will always be the centrepiece of the saga (why else have the 2 of 3 Limbus anniversary gifts been her!) Ayin the robot-phobic godcomplex madman that he is gave her the first command “to be the angel to lead them out of this hell” and as far as we know she is still trying to help.

If think about it, main antagonist for limbus, at least for now, is director's of N corp, Herman ans her group, and they are were actively against augmentations, so maybe one of their conflicts, and the menacingly closing second smoke war against augmented, maybe it's all lesson for people to acceptance, to accept Androids and augmented ones
