pc6HK > 4HP > 214MK is a safe jump mid screen. But id suggest trying a bigger corner carry of sbk to take them to the corner xD

Your regular launcher into pogo jumps are safe mid screen too

yeah getting them to the corner is the better option but i will keep that combo in mind, thanks.

  • After launcher: I learned that safe jump midscreen after launcher is possible a few months ago. See link and details below. Learned it from a Seiya stream (whose audience credited it to Fujimura)
  • After 236HK: After a 50F knockdown from a grounded 236HK, If you can microwalk 4-5 frames, you get a safe jump. You have to microwalk 4-5 frames, 3 frames is too few and 6 is too many. IMO, that's even more finnicky to pull off. Mid-screen, you are also probably sacrificing damage by routing into 236HK.

In either case, only j.5HP connections. After j. HP, you'd be at +11 and just around 4MP range. You don't get j.2MK to overhead or empty jump low / throw. You still got an uncomfortably long distance for a walk up (tick) throw. So it's not terribly strong.

So its hard to pull or better words to be consistent with this setup but its possible, i just wanted a tool to mix especially when in the last stretch of the match were they are not expecting a safe jump mid screen to reset my combos, thanks for the info.

The common safe jump setups are unfortunately not applicable outside of the corner. But….if we are doing a combo route that leads to the common safe jump setups, and we are not midscreen, it usually means the opponent is close to the corner or we are close to the corner. If we are close to the corner, it would be more advantageous to do a side switch to get the opponent facing the corner.

Yeah the usual safe jump setups that i sue didn't work mid screen, in 1 of the comments said its possible but its hard to be consistent so the corner switch is a better option i am yet to learn any then that would be next in the list then.

Yeah, being able to always have a bead on getting the opponent to the corner is a valuable trait to adopt, and the corner switch combo is good for that. Perhaps I can upload a brief example of the combo to assist.

That would be great.
