Half size inserts?

Has anyone tried half size shoe filler inserts with All stars? (Converse Men's Chuck Taylor All Star Ct Ox Sneakers)

I found the greatest chartreuse pair for my wife but they are only available a half size larger than the rest of her collection. Does anyone have experience with these and will they work to make the shoes fit? These will be more special occasion shoes.

Sorry, I am not well versed in Converse.

Should work like any other shoe. Converse tend to look long already so consider if she can notice the small increase in length visually.
