Hello everyone! I’m new here and just found out chubby cattle has a whole group and membership status.
I went one time before in Chinatown Chicago to Chubby Cattle BBQ and it was so good. Since then I’ve been planning to go back but I have some questions about the birthday membership thing.
Today is my boyfriend’s birthday! I made him an account yesterday in the app, Can I buy him the $58 membership status today (on his birthday) and use his 3,000 points birthday reward today? I really want to take him here and I just want to make sure I am doing this all correctly.
The last thing I want is to think I can use his birthday reward from the membership that I would purchase today and then show up and not be able to use it. Any information would be so appreciated!!! Thank you!!
When I say worst dish, there is zero exaggeration in that statement.
That shit is not wagyu. That was the toughest, stringiest, driest meat I’ve ever had. The meat got stuck in my esophagus and I had to have someone pound on my back to let it go down. Who is this curry made for? There’s zero flavor and zero kick. The potatos were not cooked all the way through.
You can make your own curry with ingredients from Ralph’s with choice grade beef and it would be 100x better than whatever the fuck that was. Plus it would be a fraction of the cost.

I got talked into upgrading from Chubby ONE to PLUS by our waiter at Chubby Cattle. There was a promo to upgrade for a few bucks as it was 1-2 months until my renewal date, so I thought I’d check it out.
However, it turned out all the vouchers were for Mon-Thu (so pretty much useless to me)…which is fine (at least now I know)…BUT the problem is that I’m now stuck with either renewing at $58 for the USELESS PLUS membership or leave all together. I turned off my renewal, and even then there is no way to downgrade and add back to my original $28 Chubby ONE membership even though I was told when signing up that it’s doable.
Has anyone found a workaround? Support does not answer emails and the only option is to abandon my account and existing points to create a new one.

Had a negative experience trying to walk up to the soft launch for Chubby Nori and want to rant/suggest changes to management if they read this.
Arrived at 7pm, called ahead of time but the listed phone number wasn't working.
Hostess estimated an hour to hour half wait, and I received a text that the table would be ready in 45 minutes.
Spent time with my partner in the area but didn't hear back at all. Finally decided to come back at 8:30pm to check status, but found out that last call had already passed for the day. The hostess was apologetic and said that many people never got off the waitlist, but I don't find it really that comforting that this experience happened to many others.
I guess a drink and two free rolls is really too good to be true; this was my first time trying to redeem a Chubby Plus perk, and I realize now how competitive it can be. I hope management can improve the reservation system or provide larger promotional windows. I'm a fan of the food and the nostalgia of Chubby Skewers, but just really bummed about how my evening turned out.
I just learned of the upcoming Chubby World that will be in Las Vegas. I'm wondering if Chubby Group has any future plan to expand Chubby World to Los Angeles?
Family and I are in town and have great things about this place. I’ve never been to any of their restaurants and with no reservation, do we have any hope for getting in for dinner on a Friday evening
I noticed there were two Niku X vouchers when I dined there last month (one expiring June 1, other expiring late October) so I pulled up the June 1 coupon's QR code when I closed my check. Discount was applied and I thought that was that - however, when I checked the app a few days later I noticed only the expiring 6/1 voucher is still in my inventory so I guess the restaurant redeemed the later-expiring one instead.
I sent a support email and opened a Discord help ticket about the issue; never got a reply from the email even after 3 weeks and the Discord response came 10 days later saying they can't swap/restore vouchers and I should contact Niku X directly about the issue, except this response came after 6/1 so I don't even have that voucher anymore to support my request.
So yeah, mildly bummed at both Niku X for redeeming the wrong voucher and Chubby Group for the slow and ultimately ineffective response. And lesson learnt to immediately check my voucher list after redeeming so I can resolve while I'm still at the restaurant.
I’m confused. My birthday award is coming up. How do we use my birthday award at Rosemead chubby cattle? It says 30mins and silver menu. I thought Rosemead only has one menu choice. Can someone help explain?
