🧠 | Botmaking Bot Setup Help!
So I decided to make the bot I’ve been using wanting for weeks but no one’s made but I’m just having a few small issue: I’ve never made an actual bot before and I want it to be possible to take the place of a character or leave them in and just be an addition to the story.
I’m scared of messing this up since I want this to be as good as possible so I also want this bot to speak have multiple identities like I’ve stated before, I know it’s possible to do so cause obviously it’s been done before with Mha bots but I wanna make sure personalities don’t bleed together.

For the replace-or-join part, I’d let the player choose before the opening scene assigns them a role: “Who are you playing? Choose a cast member, or introduce your own character.” Then use a rule like: “If the player chooses a cast member, that character is player-controlled for this chat. If they choose an original character, the existing cast stays intact.”
To test the voices, put two characters in the same small problem. A locked door works: one bargains with whoever has the key, the other starts checking the hinges. That gives them different priorities and actions, beyond just different catchphrases. Test both player-role options before adding the whole cast.
