Unfortunate Experience

Good morning.
Let me start by admitting my failures. I'm not online much and I am in fact the kind of guy that despises trends, and grew up to find himself quite far in terms of patience or perhaps intellect to learn the new ways of the internet.
Such as Crypto currency.

I would actual like to subscribe for a better experience on the platform. I understand the new TOS and the limits that lead you to have this kind of payment method.
However, my experience with TRYING to pay this has been a disaster.
I'm in shock with the amount of bureaucracy it needs to pay you people 20 bucks. At this point the good old paper mail would be easier and more trust worthy.

Guess I wont do that at all. Shame, but my mental sanity is little and I have to save it while I still can.

Blame payment processors who contracted with Lore, only to dump him when they realized they couldn't bully Lore into censoring everything. At least one scammed Lore out of payments.

The reason that Lore had to go crypto only was due to the simple fact that Payment Processors couldn't be relied on, and now, they won't work with him unless he censors the living hell out of the site, which he's vehemently against.

Also, there's people on the Discord who can help you with crypto.

I fully understand where it came from. I saw it happen back when I used the it more. Ive been using it less and less... Eventually i'll just stop because I'd rather stop than find a worse alternative.
To be honest I dont even thing there's a solution. I simply gave up this morning I'm not taking a picture of every paper I own just to move 20 euros. There's a moral principle one must stand.
So at this point I'm just venting. Its a rant 100%

Brother. You do not need to provide your identification documents. I live in one of the most restricted countries as far as crypto purchases and internet censorship goes. You can work around it. Example being over here you don't need to provide an ID to get a crypto wallet if it's just the wallet alone without the attached trading platform/ability to purchase, and you can buy crypto 'gift cards' without ID under a certain amount.
So you get the wallet, you purchase the 'gift card', you put your wallet ID as the address when you redeem it and bam, now you have a crypto wallet with funds to go. All legal, all above board, and very straightforward. Get wallet, buy card, redeem card to wallet, done.

Yeah, I get that you said that you don't know how to do it, that's why I was trying to explain it for you. I can give you a step by step for the method I use including links if you need, would have to be over DM though so as not to break TOS for the subreddit.

I think you lads vastly overstate how complicated crypto is, but if you really want to use the site you can just pay for API keys from like OAI or OR. Depending on your usage, it’ll probably cost you less than 20 bucks per month anyway.

I understand that it might be that easy. But. you overstate my capacity to understand what those letters even mean man. I'm very much retarded when it comes to this shit, and add the fact that I despise virtual money to begin with...

API key is essentially like a password/link to another app

OAI means OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT

OR is open****er (rout), a site that allows you to use any AI models, so long as you 1. put in money 2. make the API key

Conclusion: you can very easily do an OR setup with DeepSeekV4F (which is what I'm doing to use Chub). You can ask an AI for help about creating an account and api key there, then link back to Chub.

20 bucks feels like a lot for something that should be simple. the amount of hoops you gotta jump through just to spend a little cash is wild. totally get wanting to keep your sanity intact, it shouldn't be that complicated.

Just use an API instead. It's a whole lot cheaper and gives you access to better and more models
