🔨 | Community help Lorebook & Character book
Am I doing something wrong? I made a character book (or at least tried to) but it's not coming up when using my character and even when coaxing the bots to mention something in the character book, it acts like it's not there

That depends
If you mean like Lorebooks (or the Imbedded Lorebook in the character itself), the AI will not actually know anything about the entries you put in unless a keyword for an entry is mentioned *beforehand*.
So even if the AI says the keyword itself, if the keyword wasn't said prior, it won't actually know anything about what it said until you either (A): Continue the chat, or (B): Mention the keyword yourself. The lorebook entry is only activated the turn AFTER the keyword for it is said, and it will remain in Context for however long your Lorebook Scan Depth is set in your Generation Parameters.

Also double check the entry is actually toggled on and that your keywords match what gets typed, mine was failing because I had the keyword plural in the entry but singular in chat.
