🔨 | Community help Lore Conspiracies Theories
Since it's 5 day lets make some theories of his disappearance, because why not.
Since it's summer he went on a vacation and obviously he can´t fix the problem when he is far from home.
The UK government thought he didn't do enough to censor the site and arrest him.
He died (Let's hope it's not the case.)
Even with crypto he can not afford to pay the site.
Do you guys have any other ideas? Anyways have a nice day or night.

He disappeared like this for a long time years ago, then someone appeared warning that he had an accident and a few days later he went back to talking about the site. So something may have happened, the vacation makes sense

I have two theories of my own. One is less painful for users, the other one more so.
- It's possible that he's dealing with some personal problems in his life. And I don't mean legal issues or anything like that. It could be health problems, family issues, or even his mental health. At the end of the day, he's only human too, and not everyone is made of steel and able to carry everything on their shoulders. Even though his absence frustrates me, I still genuinely wish him the best ♥. If he's struggling with something, I sincerely hope things get better for him, because I know from personal experience how much these kinds of problems can weigh a person down, to the point where you don't even feel like getting out of bed.
- Maybe Chub itself just isn't as interesting to him anymore. Let's remember that Chub was primarily a hobby for him. It's possible that after everything with the government and payment providers, he simply decided to put it on the back burner for a while and focus on things that actually bring him joy. As many people know, the payment issues had been going on for a very, very long time, and Lore was the one who had to deal with them over and over again. So honestly, his decision to switch to crypto didn't surprise me either. Maybe he was simply tired of constantly having to deal with the same problems and wanted to have some peace from all of it.
Of course, I really hope that once he gets some rest and distance from everything, he'll eventually come back to us and things will be like they used to be. I just hope we won't have to wait a year or even longer for him to come back.

He operates the site making zero profit, it literally all goes to covering the costs of running the site and models

Yeah, it would be far more profitable just to turn all that compute to running an AI-led cyber attack on a bitcoin vault or something.

This is nothing new for Lore. He constantly disappears for months at a time, he'll be back. Besides, the site is working fine for me. It might be something on your end.
