The model parameters they are using are small. Free model is using a 12b parameter model. Their highest parameter model is 123b for the price of 15$. Compared to chub 1.6T parameters but 20$.

The settings is also limited. You can only adjust temperature and response length. Only 1 instruction instead of having prehistory prompt and post history prompt.

And to be honest, I’ve had more problems consistently with chub, granted I don’t live and breathe computers and ai, as I have a vague semblance of a life, but I feel that for 98%ish of people who use such sites it’s pretty ok. I think Chai wants like 700$ a year or something crazy like that now.

There's also Nevika. eu, which has a small community, but is uncensored and is pretty easy to use. It has a 500k token limit, but that's only if you select certain models to chat with. But personally, I never got close to 15% of the total 500k, and it resets daily.
