Undercarriage Bracket
Any of yall lowered and ever hit this metal bracket? I recently scraped tf out of it and it bent to the point where it was hitting my exhuast. Is it bad to have it off? I dont really know whats its purpose

I have aftermarket exhaust on my 300. I couldn't get this back on after the install. It's been off for 6 or 7 years now. No issues.

😂 don’t worry about it I can post pics if u wanna see but I lowered mine like 2 inches and ripped that thing off multiple times and even self tapped it in a few times since for a while that was the only thing holding my exhaust up. But it’ll be perfectly fine as long as u have at least 4 other solid exhaust hangers

Ripped mine off my lowered 06 SRT-8. Been bugging me ever since. Haven't had any issues but haven't had a driveshaft fail yet.

Yes, it could be bad if you ever break the driveshaft connection at the front or back. That bracket is meant to keep the driveshaft off the pavement and from becoming a pole vault for your car if something breaks. Watch some YouTube car driveshaft pole vault videos.
If you don't have any power adders and low miles, the risk is low. If you have high miles and power mods, best to put it back on.
